Support the Parents of Edmonton Christian Schools

Stand for ECS is a group of parents who are opposed to the teaching of radical left-wing ideologies within the Edmonton Christian Schools. Fighting for truth, these parents organized Society members to vote for a biblically faithful board of trustees ahead of the Society's AGM.

As a result, over 1,000 parents, teachers, and concerned members voted by absentee ballot to protect children from radical ideologies—a resounding majority of all voting members. By contrast, under 800 members attended the in-person AGM on June 4.

Following an unruly debate to accept the meeting agenda at the AGM, one individual proposed a motion to invalidate the over 1,000 absentee ballots that had been submitted prior to the AGM. The chair, as is her right, ruled against hearing the motion. After relentless bullying directed toward the chair, however, the absentee ballots were ignored.

Throughout the evening, the chair, who is pregnant and diabetic, was made to stay at a podium for the entirety of a nearly six hour long meeting while an activist mob relentlessly shouted her down and questioned her basic competence. Finally, the chair relented and ignored over 1,000 legally submitted votes—disenfranchising more members than the total number of people in attendance.

Because of this, the results of the AGM do not reflect the will of Society members. Disenfranchised members are seeking legal counsel at this time.

Saving Childhood supports the parents of Edmonton Christian Schools and asks you to join their movement by signing the below petition to fight back against this election interference:

We, the undersigned, call on the Board of Trustees of the Edmonton Christian School Society to count the over 1,000 legally submitted absentee votes and recognize the democratic will of all Society members.
